Latest Genshin Impact Characters in Version 2.1 and above

According to miHoyo, they will release an update for Genshin Impact every six weeks. As long as a new patch appears, there will be at least one new banner with 5 star character Genshin Impact new ones that appear. Several 4-star characters are also expected to attend.

Sangonomiya Kokomi is the latest character to appear in the 2.1 update. which is suitable for use on various maps. However, there has been some leaked information regarding a new character that might follow. Kujou Sara

Kujou Sara Genshin Impact characters who is the adopted son of the Kujou Clan and General of the Tenryou Commission. He served the Raiden Shogun and was a four-star Electro Bow user. You can find the best Kujou Sara build guide on the internet to play it.

Raiden Shogun

Raiden Shogun is a master of Electro Archon, member of The Seven and Shogun and Inazuma Bakufu. He was a tough and strong figure. Raiden Shogun is an Electro Polearm user and is available in the first 2.1 banner.

Alloy

Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn has moved to Genshin Impact. He is a Cryo bow user and can use unique elemental powers in combat and exploration. PlayStation users who do the 2.1 update can play it for free. Other players can enjoy it in version 2.2.

Sangonomiya Kokomi

He is the leader in the Sangonomiya resistance. Kokomi is described as a wise and astute military adviser. He is a Hydro Catalyst user already available at this time.

Thomas

Thoma is a Pyro Polearm user and will be available in Genshin Impact update version 2.2. Thoma is described as very observant and is currently the chief retainer of the Kamisato Clan.

Gorou

Gorou is another character from Inazuma. He also appeared on Kazuha’s voice line. Gorou is a Geo Bow user and has adorable ears with a fluttering tail. Despite his cute appearance, Gorou is actually the general of the Sangonomiya army. Gorou is a formidable leader on the battlefield and becomes ferocious in battle.

Arataki Itto

References to Itto, the head of the Arataki Gang can be found in Sayu and Yoimiya’s voice lines. Itto is a Geo user. Some of the stories may appear as part of the storyline version 2.3.

Yae Miko

Yae Miko is the priest in charge of the Narukami Grand Shrine in Inazuma. He seemed to be an Electro Catalyst user. Yae Miko will meet Traveler several times throughout Inazuma’s story. Do not know in the update how many Yae Miko will appear.

Yelan

One Twitter user, Dimbreath, found a reference to a character named Yelan in the game files. Yelan could be the newest Genshin Impact 5-star character. Visually, he is similar to Fu Hua from Honkai Impact.

Ayato

Ayato is Ayaka’s older brother, the head of the Kamisato Clan and Commissioner of Yashiro. She is featured in several voice lines in the Inazuma characters including Raiden Shogun, Sayu and Ayaka. There is no concrete evidence whether Ayato will be playable, but his figure is very important in the story. According to rumors, he is proficient with swords and polearms.

Dainsleif

Dainsleif, Bough Keeper was officially announced by miHoyo during the Tokyo Game Show. However, they also have not attached an official date. The voice cast has been announced, but it is not yet known when Dansleif will appear.

Dainsleif came from Khaenri’ah, an underground realm that was not part of Teyvat itself. So, maybe one day the players will meet Dainsleif while exploring his homeland.

Yunjin

Yunjin is the NPC of Liyue—a dancer, singer, and brewer who works at the Heyu Tea House. There is little information about Yunjin that mentions that he is a Geo Polearm user. So, there are indications that he will be a 4-star character.

Yaoyao

Yaoyao is an adorable NPC mentioned in several lines of character voices. He was previously Xiangling’s junior when they studied under the same master chef, but had now become Genshin Impach Ganyu’s assistant. According to the data, he is a 4-star Dendro Catalyst user. Uniquely, so far no other characters have used Dendro either.

Kate

Besides Sayu, another new character model that is also eagerly awaited is Kate. He was called an Electro Sword user from Mondstadt. To date, that is the only information available about Kate.

Shenhe

Many players believe that this character will initially be given the name Shenli which is a way of reading the Chinese name Ayaka. However, Shenhe here means divine crane. So, some people believe that Shenhe may be the human form of the Cloud Retainer, an Adept NPC who lives on Mount Aozang. He was supposed to be a Cryo Claymore user.

Baizhu

Baizhu is a Genshin Impact NPC and is the owner of Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue. He had a vision of Dendro that led fans to believe that one day he might become a playable character. In fact, we also still have to wait for the full implementation of Dendro into the elemental reaction chart.

Cyno

Cyno appears in a video preview which is in the Teyvat storyline. He is a Polearm user from Sumeru, one of the Genshin Impact areas that we will be able to visit in a few future updates.

Collei

Collei is a character from Sumeru in the official manga Genshin Impact. In his soul is the remnant of the Archon by Barnabus the Seer but suppressed by Cyno and Amber.

Lyney and Lynette

Lyney and Lynette are a pair of twins who dress like magicians. They hail from Fontaine, a region inspired by France. There is speculation that they could be recruited together and could swap places with each other.

Those are some of the new characters in Genshin Impact update 2.1 and above. Some of the Genesis characters above have not been released so the information may not be accurate.
