Newest Minecraft Legends Officially Released April

Mojang and Blackbird Interactive finally showed off more details about Minecraft Legends. Starting from the PvP mode, the latest gameplay footage, to the release date. Everything was announced during the Xbox and Bethesda Developer Direct event on January 25, 2023.

Minecraft Legends is an Action Strategy Game from the Franchise

First announced at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase 2022, Minecraft Legends is the latest spin-off of the sandbox game Minecraft. Carrying the action strategy genre, instead of gathering resources, players must gather many friends and flocks to fight against the Piglins.

The campaign in Minecraft Legends also supports co-op play for up to four players. Players can later work together to defeat the Piglins, build walls with traps, and find partners who can become allies. Mojang has announced that Minecraft Legends will officially release on April 18, 2023.

PvP Mode Offers Unique Experience

The main gist of the Minecraft Legends showcase is its PvP mode. It can be said that the PvP mode offered by the game made by Mojang is unique and very large. This mode is a battle of two teams of four members each.

The main goal to win in this mode is to destroy the opposing team's base while defending the team's own. The base-building feature will certainly be the most important element in this mode. As in Minecraft, each team is required to be creative in building a base and implementing the right strategy to defeat the enemy.

The map in this mode will be procedurally generated, just like the campaign, making each battle feel unique. Plus, there are Piglins who will attack both teams indiscriminately. Players can defeat Piglins to get useful resources. Finally, players who like exploration can search for resources by finding hidden chests.

Apart from Minecraft Legends, Microsoft also announced details about four other big games. One of them is Redfall which will be released on May 2, 2023, as well as Hi-Fi Rush from Tango Gameworks which has been released and has received rave reviews from its players.

Minecraft Legends will release on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch on April 18, 2023. The game will also be free for Game Pass subscribers.
