Game Collector Sells His 2,200 Consoles, Prices Reach $958,264

A game collector has reportedly sold his entire collection on the online trading platform eBay. No half-hearted, there are more than 2,200 consoles sold with various color variants and models.


Reporting from Engadget, Saturday (3/9/2022) the entire collection belonging to the France-based Kaori30 account, is priced at $ 1 million or the equivalent of Rp. 14.8 billion. He said that the console covers 50 years of gaming history.





Collectors estimate that there are 200 to 300 items that are not available anywhere else, which makes for a unique collection.

It doesn't stop there, buyers are also given bonuses in the form of hundreds of games, several statues, and other collections.


Kaori30 details the collection including 20 variants of the Nintendo 64 as well as the Sega and Neo Geo consoles.


From the posts he shared, it is also clear that there are consoles from the PlayStation, Xbox, and TurboGrafx and even Ouya brands.


According to him, he has collected this collection from the early 1990s to 2011 before it finally went bust.

Kaori30 himself admits that now he is getting tired of collecting thousands of game consoles.
