Ubisoft Prepares Assassin's Creed Mirage for 2023

The Assassin's Creed franchise will be very special for the next few years based on the Ubisoft Forward showcase that was held last weekend. Ubisoft has prepared several new Assassin's Creed series.

 

However, one series that has been confirmed to be ready for release and not just a project with a codename is Assassin's Creed Mirage. 




According to the leaks here, the background of Baghdad is shown in the 9th century or the year 861. The main protagonist is Basim Ibn Is'haq.

 

In the cinematic trailer, it is shown that Basim was originally a street thief and joined as an Assassin through his mentor, known as Roshan. 

 

In the video it is shown that they are still performing the ritual of cutting the ring finger, this is known as a way to able to use the Hidden Blade weapon. 


But in that era this organization was still called Hidden One, continuing the Assassin's Creed Origins series.

 

Not much information is shared by Ubisoft regarding Assassin's Creed Mirage. Previously, it was reported that they would discard RPG elements and return to the original formula for this game franchise.

 

Information received by Medcom. id from Ubisoft stated that this game will focus on parkour, stealth, and assassinations. Not only that but the name of the city of Alamut is also mentioned in it. 

 

It is very likely that this game will visit the Assassin's headquarters which is the setting for the first Assassin's Creed or Altair and in the Assassin's Creed Revelations or Ezio series. 

 

Seeing this, it seems that Assassin's Creed Mirage will bring an interesting story, plus the old version of Basim also appeared in the Assassin's Creed Valhalla series. This game will also still be released for previous generation consoles, namely PS4 and Xbox One.

 

Assassin's Creed Mirage can be ordered today although it will only be available in 2023. There are two versions or packages, namely Deluxe Edition and Collector's Case. Those who pre-order will get exclusive mission content related to the Alibaba legend.
