Map Nusa becomes the Second Exclusive Area on PUBG Mobile
The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) collaborated with Tencent and Krafton to present the Nusa map in the PUBG Mobile game. The collaboration aims to introduce Indonesian cultural wisdom in the eyes of the world.
This was announced by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (Menparekraf) Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno at the PMPL ID Fall 2022 Grand Final which was held at Basketball Hall Senayan, 26-28 August. A new map in the PUBG Mobile game called 'Nusa' which is taken from the word Nusantara, and is directly inspired by the beauty of the island of Bali.
"The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy really appreciates this collaboration, where the beauty of Indonesian culture and technological sophistication can combine and produce something extraordinary so that Indonesian wisdom is increasingly recognized in the eyes of the world," said Sandiaga in his official statement, Tuesday (30/8/2022).
Sandi said the beauty of Indonesia was revealed in the presence of the PUBG Mobile map which was inspired by the beauty of the island of Bali. "This new map will be named Nusa, which is taken from the word Nusantara and is present at PUBG Mobile on September 13, 2022," he added.
On the same occasion, PUBG Mobile Indonesia Country Manager Elvarica Noviyanti said that her party was very proud to be able to collaborate with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy with the same mission, namely promoting the beauty of Indonesian tourism destinations, especially Bali through the release of the Nusa map in PUBG Mobile.

"Through the release of the Nusa map on PUBG Mobile, we hope that the beauty of the Nusa map can be enjoyed not only by PUBG Mobile fans in Indonesia but also throughout the world," said Elvarica.
In the future, the collaboration between PUBG Mobile and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will continue into the realm of Esports. Where for the first time in the history of PUBG Mobile, Indonesia was chosen as the host of the 2022 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) in January 2023.
The plan is that the Nusa map will be present in the regular update of PUBG Mobile version 2.2. Map Nusa will be the second exclusive map in the battle royale game after Livik, which was launched a few years ago.
Measuring one square kilometer and located in the tropics, Nusa is a distinct map that makes up one-eighth of Erangel. At this location, players will find a number of secret caves, a large house with three swimming pools, and a monster truck, as well as many other locations that will be included in the Nusa Map.
