Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta Begins September 16, 2022
As per the previous rumors, the first Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta is coming on September 16, 2022.
The beta trial of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will arrive next month, to be exact in September 2022.
In this trial PlayStation players will get access first, then players on the Xbox and PC platforms. This news was shared by Infinity Ward in the CDL Champs ( Call of Duty League Championship ) tournament.
As usual, Call of Duty beta testing will be differentiated based on the type of console used, as well as whether players have pre-ordered the Call of Duty game or not.
Early access for the first beta test of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will start from September 16-17, 2022 for players on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and players who have pre-ordered. After that, an open beta trial will be held on September 18-20, 2022 for all PlayStation players.
The cross-play beta for players who pre-order the game on PlayStation, Xbox and PC will run from September 22 – 23, 2022. While the open crossly beta for all platforms will take place from September 24 – 26, 2022.
Meanwhile, in CDL Champs, Infinity Wards not only revealed the release date of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta version. But they also introduced a new multiplayer map called Grand Prix. This new map is set on a racetrack. The map will be available in beta testing and can be played immediately.
Furthermore, Infinity Wards also said that specifically for players who have not pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, players still have the opportunity to receive a beta code for early access either via streamers or YouTubers before the beta start date.
