3 Popular Games from Ubisoft That Will Be Released in Mobile Version

Netflix has not given up on developing mobile game services through its platform. This time they collaborated with publisher Ubisoft to present three exclusive mobile games on Netflix.

This was announced at the Ubisoft Forward 2022 event. There are three popular games from Ubisoft that will be released into the mobile version including Valiant Hearts, Mightly Quest and Assassins Creed.

“We are thrilled to be working with Ubisoft, whose track record of creating impressive worlds for fans is second to none,” said Mike Verdu, Vice President of Games, Netflix.

Although Netflix and Ubisoft have not revealed the gameplay of the new mobile game.

Netflix says these games will be available exclusively to all Netflix members worldwide, with no ads or in-app purchases.

Verdu said the partnership will give Netflix subscribers exclusive access to multiple game franchises as the company builds a mobile game catalog for its members worldwide.

“Netflix doesn't take many big steps like this, but when they do, they support it and are committed to it. And they understand that the road to making it happen may be long, especially with games, where it takes years to make a game.

Game Mobile Ubisoft Buat Netflix

Furthermore, Jean-Michel Detoc, Chief Mobile Officer, Ubisoft, welcomed this collaboration. "I believe this partnership will be a great opportunity for Netflix members to explore our world and universe on mobile further."

Among these mobile games, the Assassin's Creed franchise is one of the highlighted titles. Given his presence is also part of the promotion of the TV series Assassin's Creed which is currently being worked on by Netflix.

Meanwhile, Valiant Hearts 2 is a sequel to the survival game Valiant Hearts: The Great War which was launched in June 2014. Netflix revealed that the game will be directed by the original core team, and retain the DNA of its predecessor while featuring a new story.

Then, another game is Mighty Quest which is an action role-playing game. This genre is similar to the first series, The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot which was released in 2013.

The new game will take inspiration from the roguelike genre, to provide the series' premiere hack-and-slash combat experience, in a fresh format that allows for replay.

Netflix itself first launched the Netflix Games service in November 2021. Since then, this video streaming platform seems to be getting serious about pursuing its game service.
