5 Interesting Things That Have Seen In Resident Evil 4

At the PlayStation State of Play 2022 event yesterday. Capcom made several announcements regarding the release of their latest game. Yes, totally not really new games either. Namely Resident Evil 4 Remake and the VR version of the game Resident Evil: Village.

Of their two latest releases, only Resident Evil 4 Remake has an official release date, which is March next year. To increase the interest of fans, Capcom also released a short trailer that provides an overview of the remake version of the game that was released almost 20 years ago. Although for me, the first trailer yesterday was still not very exciting and very interesting.

Well, from the trailer they have released, we can get some interesting things. In this article, I have summarized it and can be a highlight for the trailer or demo version which they will release first before the final product. What are you curious about? Without further ado, let's get started with the discussion.

Leon's Interaction With President Graham Is Like Giving The Game's Storylines

Almost All Main Characters Have Appeared

Capcom Gives Ashley a Beta Outfit

The Village Background of Resident Evil 4 Remake Is So Dark And Eerie

The absence of the island stage in this first trailer

Leon's Interaction With President Graham Is Like Giving The Game's Storylines

In the original version, we ourselves don't know what Ashley's father looks like or looks like. Well, it took almost 20 years for us to know what the face of the President was when he appeared in the Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness series.

In the trailer that looks, it's still just a silhouette. However, from the interaction of the two, it seems likely that this remake version will be like story retelling. So, the plot of this game is only based on flashbacks from Leon's character who managed to get out of the village where Resident Evil 4 was with Ashley.

Almost All Main Characters Have Appeared

This is actually quite annoying for me. Even though it's still a vignette or silhouette, it seems that almost all of the main characters of this game have appeared only in this first trailer. Starting from Leon, Ashley, Ada Wong, Bitores Mendez, Luis Sera, and even Osmund Sadler.

From the list of characters that have appeared, maybe only Krauser and Wesker that Capcom has not presented. Of course, this is a bit of a concern for me. The story they changed was the involvement of Wesker and Krauser and Ada's relationship in the later Remake version.

Capcom Gives Ashley a Beta Outfit

Remember the scene when a girl is alone and looks like she's being chased by someone? At first, I thought that person was Ada. But when his face accidentally turned to face the camera, I finally found out that it was Ashley (read: Burden).

Interestingly, Ashley was wearing a costume from the beta version, you know. You can see for yourself in the picture I gave. With Ashley's costume that Capcom made closed, hopefully, the ignorant players won't use their Scope Sniper Rifle for things that are outside the context of the game, wow.

The Village Background of Resident Evil 4 Remake Is So Dark And Eerie

If you remember, in the original version, Leon entered the village when it was still late and the game ended in the morning. In the first trailer, it looks like Capcom will make major changes to the time setting when Leon enters his village environment.

It could be, Leon came there when it was early morning or evening. Then the progress of the game is finished at noon or when the sky is clear enough. So it makes the impression of the village which is the background of the location is quite scary and eerie.

Oh yes. Talk about the village. During daytime conditions, there is a drone view which shows that the village plan doesn't seem to have changed much, you know. Obviously later we will not be very confused when exploring in that place.

The absence of the island stage in this first trailer

The thing that makes me quite interesting (and immediately feels less good) is that Capcom immediately appears all the main characters along with Ganado who will be Leon's enemy throughout the game.

But, here. Looks like they've either intentionally hidden one stage for the next trailer , or are going to be cut content like the previous Resident Evil Remake version .

Are you aware that this island stage was absent in the first trailer ? In fact, in this first trailer , they have shown a few sightings of the castle ganado and the silhouette of Osmund Sadler.

There are two possibilities here. First, Capcom deliberately hid it and only then did they show it for the next trailer . Or the only and worst possibility, the island stage will be absent in this remake version .

I hope so. There is clarity regarding the absence of this island stage in the first trailer . Even if you become a victim of cut content , hopefully the execution won't be as bad as yesterday 's Resident Evil 3 Remake .
