The OLED Model is not the rumored Switch
That’s right, they’ve officially announced the Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) with mediocre specs. It’s just that it comes with some new features that make it different from the regular Nintendo Switch.
This has led fans to speculate that Nintendo still has another announcement regarding the Nintendo Switch. Moreover, rumors have been saying that they are preparing a Nintendo Switch Pro with support for up to 4K.
Even though Nintendo has announced an OLED model, it is possible that they are also preparing a Nintendo Switch Pro. What’s more, the presence of the Switch Pro is reinforced by an industry insider – Jeff Grubb.
Nintendo Switch Pro launching in 2022?
Recently Grubb have talked in more detail about the Nintendo Switch Pro. He said that he had heard that the console would be coming in 2022, which is when the OLED model was released on October 8 this year.
In addition, Grubb confirmed that he remains confident that the Nintendo Switch Pro will support 4K and better specs. Next year is the year the Nintendo Switch will be 5 years old since it first hit the market.
Of course this is quite the right time to launch Switch Pro for Nintendo. Regardless, this is just a rumor at the moment. There has been no confirmation from Nintendo itself.
