Cryptominer in Ukraine Caught Using 500 Graphics Cards and 3800 PS4 Consoles

A new report has emerged confirming that cryptominers in Ukraine have been caught using a staggering amount of hardware. It is known based on reports from Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).

They say that Ukrainian law enforcement has stopped mining secret cryptocurrencies in the city of Vinnytsia. These miners are in an old warehouse and are secretly tapping the city’s power grid to mine cryptocurrencies.

According to the report, these coin miners use more than 5,000 hardware, including more than 500 graphics cards, 50 processors, and 3,800 PS4 consoles. This collection of mining hardware was successfully confiscated by the authorities.

The use of the PlayStation 4 console for Bitcoin mining is still relatively new, even odd. We all know that all this time these miners use a processor and a graphics card.

Until now, there has been no further explanation regarding how the PS4 can be used to mine coins. However, the photos circulating show that many PS4 consoles appear to be connected to the internet.
