Netflix Announces Two Animated Series Adaptation of Game Far Cry
When we talk about one of the giant franchises belonging to Ubisoft, of course there is no name other than Far Cry. This FPS-themed game with various blends in it has been around for a decade.
In this long period of time, Ubisoft has succeeded in creating various well-known Far Cry series. In the near future, they have been gearing up to launch the newest entry in the franchise – Far Cry 6.
Far Cry gets animated adaptation
Despite all that, do Ubisoft’s Far Cry plans just stop at Far Cry 6? Certainly not. It was recently reported that Ubisoft has been gearing up to drop into the big screen industry via Netflix.
Last year, they had announced the Splinter Cell Animation adaptation. Which has recently made its first appearance. There are no further details regarding the Splinter Cell animation.
Back to before, will Ubisoft just stop at Splinter Cell? Certainly not. Through its Twitter account, Netflix has announced the presence of two new animations adapted directly from the Far Cry game.
Get two animations for Netflix!
Through a Twitter account, Adi Shakaar as the producer has announced that Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon will get an animation titled Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix. This animation will later have an artstyle like Japanese anime in general.
Not only that, along with this, Ubisoft also announced the presence of other animations which were also adapted from the Far Cry game. However, there is no information regarding this second animation project.
Of course, this is a pretty happy week for Ubisoft fans. Some of the games made by Ubisoft will get animated adaptations on Netflix. What is your opinion about this? Give your feedback.
