MiHoYo Sues Bilibili For Leaked Information Regarding Genshin Impact
Leakage of information related to the latest content in a game has become commonplace. Where the content that the developer prepared was actually leaked to the public before they actually announced it.
The developer’s decision in responding to this information leak is divided into two camps. Where there are developers who are not too concerned about this, and there are developers who are quite strict with leaks like this.
MiHoyo sues Bilibili for information leak
Moreover, if the latest information leak is very fatal or large. Not a few of the developers in the end took a decision to sue several parties who are known to violate the rules they provide.
This is what is currently happening to BiliBili and MiHoYo. True, it was recently reported that the developer behind the Genshin Impact game has sued BiliBili regarding the leak of information related to the game made by MiHoYo.
Bilibili user leaks information about Genshin Impact
This leaked information did not come from Bilibili, but from users of the platform. However, MiHoYo’s side made a decision to sue the platform where the information was leaked.
The Chinese developer asked for the data of everyone who leaked Genshin Impact content uploaded on the platform. But unfortunately, because of the privacy law, Bilibili couldn’t fulfill MiHoYo’s wish.
According to information, MiHoYo has at least 11 people who are recognized by the community as the biggest leakers of Genshin Impact information. There is no further clarity regarding this issue from MiHoYo or Bilibili.
