Horizon Forbidden West Gets Free Upgrade to PlayStation 5
The pre-order period for Horizon Forbidden West officially opened recently. The sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn will be ready to launch in 2022 without a definite release date.
This pre-order also comes with various types of versions. Which is quite difficult for players to choose which is the best for them. What’s more, there is no free upgrade feature to the next-gen for those of you who buy the standard version of the PS4.

For those of you who want to get a free upgrade feature to the next-gen, you have to buy Horizon Forbidden West with a version that is more expensive than normal. That’s right, you should at least have more money to be able to play this one game on the next-gen console.
Knowing this, the pre-order from Horizon Forbidden West also reaped negative reactions from fans. Which many gamers do not agree that they have to spend more money to be able to get a free upgrade feature from PS4 to PS5.
Sony plans
Because of this, like it or not now Sony has changed the policy. Which now you can upgrade Horizon Forbidden West from PS4 to PS5 for free or for free.
Not wanting this to happen again in the future, Jim Ryan as CEO of Sony also said that exclusive games coming from Sony’s first-party studios will have a price of USD 10 higher if you want to upgrade to PS5 in the future.
