Not long ago, Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade will be coming to the PC platform through the Epic Games Store. The release of FF VII Remake on PC via EGS itself was previously revealed through various leaks from fans.

This leak first appeared through a Twitter user named Road. It reports that it has found the Steam AppID that Square Enix is ​​using to test Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. The AppID is numbered 1462040 and SteamDB also detects it as ‘Unknown App’.

Road himself found this AppID through an encrypted .pak file in the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade folder. Well, in that file, Road found a Windows folder with WindowsEngine.ini as evidence of his findings.

In addition, after this leak spread, Pavel Djundik as the creator of SteamaDB immediately labeled the AppID found by Road with the words ‘Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade’. It was also revealed that the Steam AppID was created 6 months after the game’s exclusive release on PS4.

This proves that Square Enix has been preparing their game for the PC platform for a long time. The Final Fnatasy VII Remake Intergrade PC itself has now been confirmed to be released exclusively for the Epic Games Store.
