Facing Alter Ego in MPL ID Playoff Round, REKT Says EVOS Has Made Preparations. Games
The EVOS Legends REKT captain stated that his team was very ready to face the match against Alter Ego (AE) on Day One of the MPL ID Season 9 Playoffs, on Thursday (21/4).
The bracket for the MPL ID Season 9 playoffs is known, and four of the six participating teams already know their first opponent to qualify for the Upper Bracket.
The four teams that had to elbow each other to secure the remaining 2 upper bracket slots were Aura Fire, EVOS Legends, Alter Ego, and Bigetron Alpha. AE is also EVOS’ first challenge on the way to the MPL ID Season 9 Championship ladder.
In order to prepare for the upcoming playoffs, in its live stream, REKT revealed that EVOS Legends has been scrim four times a day. The captain also stated that instead of aiming for the championship title, EVOS was totally focused on the match against AE so as not to lose.
This is because if they fall at the hands of Alter Ego in the first match of the playoffs on Thursday, Ferxiic and his colleagues will not qualify for the upper bracket round or will be eliminated immediately.
“We have prepared four scrims for one day now. Instead, we have prepared for AE, not for MPL champions, so we don’t want to go home first. We really prepared for AE,” said REKT
Fighting alter ego is not an easy matter for EVOS. The White Tigers have always had problems in their two meetings in the regular season. Besides Udil and his friends, now they are starting to find their best appearance.
During the regular season this season, Nasi Uduk’s troops have never won over EVOS Legends, but they were able to steal one game winning points, aka the match always ends at a score of 2-1.
