Capcom Officially Announces Resident Evil 8: Village, Release 2022!

Capcom officially announces the presence of the eighth series of Resident Evil, entitled Village.

For you fans franchise Resident Evil, now there is good news! Because recently through the PlayStation 5: The Future of Gaming event from Sony, Capcom officially announced the presence of the eighth Resident Evil series entitled Village.

Still present with gameplay from a gripping first-person perspective like the previous series, Resident Evil 8: Village tells the story after Resident Evil 7 where Mia Winters and Ethan have lived happily after going through the events at the Baker family’s house.

But it is known that Ethan has to face again with a new nightmare problem that makes him have to unravel a new mystery. The fight is no longer against zombies, but monsters and humans with mysterious powers in them.

The trailer shown by Capcom closes with the appearance of Chris Redfield who suddenly appears and shoots Mia Winters, Ethan’s wife. Besides that, the good news is for those of you who are also wondering if this game will only be exclusive to the PlayStation 5, the answer is of course no. Because Resident Evil 8: Village will be launched to various platforms including Xbox Series X and also PC via Steam. Like previous rumors, the latest Resident Evil series from Capcom will launch right in 2022.
