Activision to Remaster Some Old Call of Duty Games?

Activison became interested in remastering their Call of Duty franchise in 2022. Where they officially launched Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered that year.

Now half a decade has passed. In this long period of time, a claim has emerged saying that Activision will again remaster some old Call of Duty games.

Some old Call of Duty games will be remastered?

This rumor comes from a leaker named RalphsValve. He said that there was talk at Activision about remastering some older Call of Duty games in the future.

Ralphs said that the remaster would fill a void from the main Call of Duty series, which had previously been reported that a new installment in the franchise would not be available for 2023.

There is no Activision confirmation yet

Furthermore, Ralphs said that the possibilities for the Call of Duty game that Activision will remaster themselves are COD: World at War, 1 and 2, in addition to backward compatibility support for the remastered version of COD: Modern Warfare.

In addition, there has now been a rumor saying that COD: Modern Warfare Remastered will be releasing on Nintendo Switch. Of course this is quite interesting, considering that none of the Call of Duty series has been released on Nintendo’s console.

Last month, Microsoft President – Brad Smith said that the company he leads is interested in bringing the COD series to the Switch. We need to remind you that there has been no confirmation from Activision itself regarding this old COD remaster.
