10 Years Announced, Tekken X Street Fighter Game Has Been Canceled
When we talk about fighting games, the names Tekken and Street Fighter certainly cannot be separated from this one genre. Tekken and Street Fighter have been present in the gaming industry for decades.
Until now, these two fighting games are still competing with each other. In 2010, a crossover project between Tekken and Street Fighter as a fighting game was announced.
Tekken x Street Fighter
This crossover project will produce Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter in 2010. In 2012, Street Fighter X Tekken was officially released. Meanwhile, there is no news for Tekken X Street Fighter itself.
In fact, until now one of these plans did not show the bridge of his nose. Instead of coming up with good news, the developer has confirmed that the Tekken X Street Fighter project has been officially canceled.
Cancel after 10 years!
After 10 years without clarity, now Harada and Ikeda as developers of Tekken confirm that the development of Tekken X Street Fighter has completely disappeared. Not only that, he said that the development was only 30% running.
Harada and Ikeda also regretted this decision. He said that they developed the characters in the game with great care and detail. But unfortunately, they could not continue the project.
