Setting GLTools 60 FPS PUBG Android & Phoenix OS

GLTools 60 FPS PUBG Phoenix OS settings – Playing PUBG, FF and CoD Mobile games using Phoenix OS is indeed lighter than using an emulator. To improve gaming performance on Phoenix OS, you can perform graphic optimization using the GLTools application.

GLTools is a special OpenGL ES driver application. This app is compatible with both ARM and x86 CPUs and GPUs. With the GLTools application you can make certain graphic settings that are not in the game so that the game being played is smoother without rendering problems.

GLTools has many features, such as enabling MSAA or CSAA, Changing GPU identity, Shader optimization, Texture optimization and more. Alright, here’s how to set GLTools Free Fire, PUBG on Phoenix OS so you can play more smoothly.

  • Requirements: Android 2.3 ARM or x86, Root

GLTools 60 FPS PUBG Mobile settings

1. Download and Install GLTools as usual, then open GLTools and select a game, for example PUBG Mobile.

2. Here’s how to set the GLTools 60 fps application:

Android

  • Tick Enable custom settings for this.
  • Tick Force 16 bit rendering (Decreased rendering to 16 bit from 24/32 bit, lowers graphics quality and certainly improves performance)
  • Tick Optimize GLSL shaders (This feature is useful for optimizing OpenGL shaders on color structures and textures)
  • Enable texture decompression : All
  • Enable texture recompression : Decompressed only/All (Selecting this option on texture compression will lower the graphics quality slightly and reduce the GPU bandwidth load, which will increase performance)
  • Tick Use FPS counter to display the number of FPS in the game.
  • Tick Use fake GPU info and also tick Use fake CPU/RAM info.
  • choose Use a template
  • In the GPU option, please select Mali-G72 / Andreno 630.

Phoenix OS

GLTools 60 FPS PUBG Phoenix OS settings
  • Tick Enable custom settings for this.
  • Tick Optimize GLSL shaders
  • Enable texture decompression : All
  • Enable texture recompression : Disable (I’ve tried turning this option on, but it’s rendering often. So please try to adjust it on your device)
  • Tick Use FPS counter to display the number of FPS in the game.
  • Tick Use fake GPU info and also tick Use fake CPU/RAM info.
  • choose Use a template
  • In the GPU option, please select Mali-G72, because this option works with Phoenix OS. In the RAM and CPU options, please adjust them, because this is an optional choice.

Other GPU template options for Phoenix OS:

  • NVIDIA Tegra 4 (SHIELD) and already the OpenGL version from 2.0 to 3.0

This GPU template will decrease the graphics quality and will certainly increase the FPS in the game. And if the FPS setting only reaches Medium, then leave it alone because the game is still running according to the previous FPS or you can use GFXTools to open settings to Extreme.

  • Next scroll on Expert option and tick Disable shader cache.

Disabling the shader cache is useful if you’re still using your Harddisk, as the shader arrays your games need will be slow if they’re processed via legacy eMMC or Harddisks. By selecting this feature, the shader cache will be fully processed by the GPU.

GLTools 60 FPS PUBG Phoenix OS settings

Well, that was how to set GLTools PUBG Mobile 60 FPS and Call of Duty Mobile on Phoenix OS. There are many features to choose from in this application, but not all of them can be used on Phoenix OS.

One example is Force 16 bit rendering, after restarting the game used will force close, and Downscale texture which will make the graphics messy.

Alright, that’s it for the article Setting GLTools PUBG 60 FPS on Android and Phoenix OS, good luck and hopefully it’s useful.
