Patch Notes for Update PUBG Mobile 2.4 New Martial Showdown Theme

PUBG Mobile 2.4 is the first major update for PUBG Mobile in 2023. With a time similar to the PMGC 2022 Grand Finals, of course, they hope players will get more hype with this big update.

Along with the return of Gear Front, along with the fan-favorite Metro Royale mode, this patch also introduces a new one called Martial Showdown.

The latest PUBG Mobile 2.4 update has just been launched and will be available to gamers as early as January 6, 2023. Here are the patch notes for this exciting update.

New Landscapes and Gameplay

Martial Arts Arena: Several Martial Arts Arenas will appear in the game, some will be open to players around the clock, while the rest will remain locked. The arena will only become available after the countdown ends.

New gameplay – Back for Honor: After being eliminated and summoned back by teammates, players can apply for Back For Honor missions. The chaser can get a reward by eliminating the target within a certain time limit. If it fails, the target player will get the prize.

Gear Front Update (Erangel & Livik From February 15, 2023)

Added 2 New Skills

New skill – Player Launcher: Use the new launcher to catapult into the air to reach faraway places.

New Skill – Tactical Camouflage: Wear a special Camo Suit to increase the speed of climbing obstacles.

Other Skill Adjustments

• Supply Chests can now be purchased on the Black Market. Free Basic Supply Chests can now be purchased within 5 minutes of battle starting.
• The Supply Scan skill is combined with the Hockey Backpack skill.
• Playzone Analysis skill combined with Vehicle AirDrop.
• Improvements to Track Tracking: When activated, players can see the remaining HP of a marked target.

Update Erangel

• Hang gliding will appear in some highland areas in Erangel. Slide from high areas and take advantage of updrafts to get to farther places.
• We added a lift to the Galata Tower. Players can use the elevator to quickly explore the tower.

Metro Royale Update

• New Map: Misty Port – Now available in Basic Mode and Advanced Mode.
• New Sweepstakes Package in Metro Royale Black Market.
• New Fable items with 1-2 special traits.
• The Gallery feature is now available in Metro Royale, where you can see all the special features.
• New Weapons Honey Badger, Honey Badger (Cobra), and Honey Badger (Steel Front) will be available.

Weapon and Vehicle Updates

New Weapon: Honey Badger fires 7.62 mm caliber bullets and has a fairly high rate of fire. Suitable for close combat.

• QBZ Improvements:

Damage base: 41 -> 42

Ammo Duration:

Magazine cost: 3.66 dtk -> 3.1 dtk

Half-empty magazine: 3.0 sec -> 2.5 sec

Supported maps: Livik and Sanhok

• FAMAS Upgrade:

Bullet spread while moving reduced by 20%

Maximum horizontal recoil is slightly reduced

Ammo Duration:

Magazine cost: 4.6 dc -> 3.6 dc

Half-empty magazine: 2.7 sec -> 2.5 sec

Supported maps: Livik and Sanhok

• Uzi Upgrade

Weapon switching speed increased by 35%

Bullet spread while moving reduced by 30%

• UMP45 upgrade

Weapon switching speed increased by 35%

Bullet spread while moving reduced by 20%

Damage reduction reduced, ranged damage increased

• Improvement of PP-19 Bizon

Weapon switching speed increased by 35%
