The Gulag mechanic is back from Warzone, but this time he will serve as a 2v2 match. Given the success of Warzone and the general popularity of the Call of Duty franchise, there was a lot of hype for Warzone 2's launch.

Similar to Modern Warfare 2019 and the original he Warzone, Call of Duty: Warzone 2 is connected to Modern Warfare 2. This is because both games use the same application.

However, someone who only wants to play MW2 doesn't need to download his Warzone 2, thus saving storage space.

As planned, the original Warzone is currently offline but will return as Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera on November 28th at 10:00 PT.

This means that users who still want to play Warzone will not be able to log in for about 12 days. That said, anyone who's played Call of Duty: Warzone will receive a few items as gifts in Warzone 2.

In addition to Battle Royale, Warzone 2 features a new DMZ game mode focused on survival and escape. The player is tasked with finding loot and escaping from his safe zone while facing off against fellow players and his AI opponents.
