For the first time in MPL Season 9, Rekt, Wannn, and Luminaire have been replaced by Dreams, Vaanstrong, and Wyvorz.
When competing against Bigetron Alpha in Season 9 week 8 of MPL, EVOS Legends gave a surprise by bringing a new roster without their 3 main players, namely: Rekt, Wannn and Luminaire.
In a live broadcast on NIMO TV, VP of EVOS Performance, Aldean Tegar explained about the regeneration of the White Tiger team during MPL Season 9.
For the first time in MPL Season 9, Rect, Wann and Luminaire were replaced by Dreams, Vaanstrong and Wyvorz. Playing successfully, these three young EVOS legends players managed to beat Bigetron Alpha.
In this case, Aldean Tegar admitted that he was very lucky that without the M1 trio, EVOS Legends managed to win over Bigtron alpha.
“Imagine it, if for example it was a disaster, the match was lost. The first time there were no three golden children (Rekt, Wannn, Luminaire) wow that’s a disaster. New players are blasphemed,” said Aldean Tegar.
Furthermore, Aldean Tegar or better known as EVOS Luch appealed to fans to fully support the young EVOS Legends players and not criticize the performance of the players.
“You can’t do that, support the new players. You guys who are dicengin in hangout, my players who are blasphemed. If you lose, you just blaspheme me,” he continued.
EVOS Legends’ first appearance without Rekt, Wannn and Luminaire received mixed reactions from fans. Fortunately, Dreams, Vaanstrong and Wyvorz achieved a complete victory in the match with Bigetron Alpha.
