Tencent Announces PUBG Mobile World Invitational Tournament
Today, Tencent has announced the PUBG Mobile World Invitational tournament starting this July. This tournament has a total prize pool of USD 3 million or the equivalent of IDR 43 billion.
However, this total prize will be in the form of a Charity. If the team that will compete in the event wins, the prize from the winner will be donated. According to confirmation, this tournament will start from July 22 to July 27, 2022.
PUBG Mobile World Invitational
For those of you who don’t know, the PUBG Mobile World Invitational itself is here as a replacement for the PUBG Mobile Mid Season Championship which was canceled due to COVID-19.
Furthermore, this tournament will be divided into two regions – East and West. Of course this is because of the different pings and different connections from each region. This has happened in previous tournaments.
Followed by 16 teams from each region
In addition, PUBG Mobile WI will later be participated by 16 teams per region and the team that will take part in the event is a direct invite from Tencent. Until now, there has been no confirmation about the Indonesian team that will participate.
However, the most likely team from Indonesia that has been confirmed to participate is of course Bigetron Red Aliens. This is because Bigetron is one of the participants of the PUBG Mobile Mid Season Championship which was canceled.
