Success with Weathering with You, Makoto Shinkai Returns to Work on New Animation Project
For those of you anime lovers, you are certainly no stranger to the name Makoto Shinkai. His works are quite popular and left a deep impression on the hearts of fans. Call it Kimi no Na Wa, Weathering With You, or maybe the anime that managed to make the weeds feel confused for a long time, 5 Centimeters per Second.
New news says that now he has returned to work on his new project at Comix Wave Films. But this is not an anime project like Weathering with You or Your Name. This new job is an advertisement for Taisei Corporation.

The advert features the newest Specialist Hospital in the newly built city of Yangon in Myanmar. In addition, the ad also features other interesting places in Myanmar, complete with Makoto Shinkai’s signature animation style.
Makoto Shikai is actually the General Director of Commercial assisted by Youki Miki who acts as the director and storyboarder. For those who don’t know, Miki is Shinkai’s assistant director in the filmmaker Weathering with You and one of the former animators from Studio Ghibli.
