The SSD used is megaand lead developer Mark Cerny said that time and again they requested that SSDs be fully hardware for their vision. In addition, this SSD can read 5.5 gigabytes per second (PS4 can only read 50 to 100 megabytes per second) this time they also fill it with 16GB of GDDR6 RAM, which can read the system in two seconds. The PS5 has fewer teraflops than the Xbox Series X, but Cerny explains that the teraflop number is a “dangerous” method of measuring hardware performance. However, PS5 and Xbox Series X rely on CPU, GPU from AMD, so it’s still such a decent comparison.
