Via account Twitter, journalist Jason Schreier from Kotaku answered a question that currently the development of Skull and Bones is hampered due to many reboots and also the creative director has left the game since late 2022. These two problems have caused the game to have not been completed until now, and it is believed that it will not be released in the near future.
