Sea Of Thieves Collect Proceeds from Purchased Items to Donate to Charitable Activities

Sea Of Thieves Game PC and Xbox One

Rare as the developer of the Sea Of Thieves Game has announced that they have just released Noble Pathfinder Sails into the game, this feature is a special Ship Item that you can buy directly using the original currency. But there is something different, all proceeds from purchasing items do not go directly to the developer first, but will be donated to the SpecialEffect organization, a Charity organization based in the UK and focusing on people with special needs so they can play video games. The proceeds from the sale of Noble Pathfinder Sails managed to rake in the figure of around $76,000 and if converted into around 1 Billion Rupiah. Amazing number huh?

Through their official Twitter page, Sea Of Thieves said in a tweet that “They Thank You so much (As Big as Megalodon) to the generous Sea Of Thieves Community who have raised a total of $76,205.90 for the SpecialEffect organization.”

From here we can also learn that games can also be a place of kindness and help each other through this fundraising event, apart from the Toxic community and Microtransactions which almost make no sense. You can play the Sea Of Thieves game on PC or Xbox One, right!
