Rurouni Kenshin Gets Music Adaptation Starring Teppei Koike

The musical adaptation of the “Arc Kyoto” of Rurouni Kenshin’s action manga is set to take place this fall in IHI Stage Around Tokyoknown as 360-degree audience seats (seats are arranged in the center of the theater, and the game scene is changed by rotating the seats).

The manga was previously adapted into a musical by Snow Troup Takarazuke Revue in 2022, starring Seina Sagiri as Kenshin. He reprized his role in the musical replay produced by Shochiku and Umeda Art Theater in 2022. Shuichiro Koike, who worked on both plays, is again serving as writer and director.

Well, in 2022, actor Teppei Koike (who played L in the musical Death Note) plays protagonist Kenshin Himura.
