PlayStation Studios Develops Over 25 Games, Mostly New IP

In recent years, the number of Studios under the PlayStation Studios name has increased significantly. There are well-known studio names such as Santa Monica, Insomniac Games, Naughty Dog, Guerilla Games have succeeded in creating a giant IP.

The studio which is under the auspices of PlayStation Studios itself has succeeded in creating a masterpiece in the gaming industry over the last two decades. Even now, Head of PlayStation Studios – Hermen Hulst said that there are more than 25 games being developed by them.

One of the studios under their auspices which is currently developing the new IP is Bend Studio. The developer behind Days Gone was trusted by Sony to develop an open-world IP after Days Gone 2 was rejected.

For those of you who don’t know, Hulst himself has served as head of PlayStation Studios since November 2022. It is known that he previously served as managing Director for Guerrilla Games.

Guerrilla is the developer behind Horizon Zero Dawn. The sequel to the franchise is now ready to be launched for the holiday season this year as well. In addition, Hulst also confirmed that God of War Ragnarok will be postponed to 2022.
