Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Doesn't Have Multiplayer Mode

Activision has recently released the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered to the PlayStation 4 Platform and will soon follow to other platforms at the end of April. However, many players have complained that there is no multiplayer mode in the game, which makes this remaster less interesting.

Activision has finally explained the reason why there is no multiplayer mode or spec ops in CoD: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, through blog post that they released, it is said that they prefer to focus on the Modern Warfare Reboot game and bring all the classic maps from the Modern Warfare series into one game.

“Instead of releasing a separate multiplayer mode, it’s better if we bring a lot of classic maps into a new Modern Warfare universe that will grow over time,”

In addition, they have also released one of the iconic Modern Warfare 2 maps, namely Rust in the Reboot version, it is likely that other maps will also follow in the next season.

Previously, it was known that many CoD: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered players wanted Activision to add a multiplayer mode to the game.
