Konami said they are working to deliver the new mini console as soon as possible, and the company will provide more details when the new launch time is confirmed.

Shortly before Konami released the statement, the company said that customers who preorder on March 5, 2022, will still receive their console on March 19. The latest statement explains that all orders have now been delayed.

In the history of the console’s release, it is the first time it has been delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, which has had an impact on the video game industry. Also on the hardware side, the Animal Crossing special edition Switch console also experienced production delays last month.
