Sad news for PUBG Lite players. Starting from Thursday, April 29, 2022, this game is officially closed. This is based on the official PUBG Lite announcement that was delivered through their website and Facebook page.

“We thank you for your support while with us. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope that PUBG LITE can give you pleasure while maintaining your health together,” wrote PUBG Lite.

“Unfortunately, we will take the tough decision to close the service after much deliberation and end our journey. It is with a heavy heart that we announce that the PUBG LITE service will be discontinued on April 29, 2022.”

Still in the same announcement, PUBG Lite also provides a service termination schedule.

  • As of March 30, 2022, the lite.pubg.com web page is closed, downloads will no longer be available.
  • Since April 29, 2022, the PUBG Lite service has been discontinued.
  • May 29, 2022, player support for LITE will no longer be available.


Concluding its official announcement, PUBG Lite wrote a thank you note to the players.

“We would like to thank everyone who has spent time with us and we look forward to our next trip. Thank you for playing PUBG LITE.”
