Last year, Crytek itself released a remastered version of the first Crysis game on the PC platform via the Epic Games Store exclusively. Crysis Remastered has now received an update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

Meanwhile, many fans are wondering when the game will hit Steam. Until now, you can only play the PC version of Crysis Remastered via the Epic Games Store.

However, Crytek said that they already have plans for their future franchise. They announced the Crysis Remastered trilogy together with a teaser trailer less than 2 minutes in duration.

This trailer also shows a lot of action and explosions that occur in the forest. This trilogy is also confirmed for PC, but it is not clear whether it will return exclusively to the Epic Games Store or Steam.

Finally, this trilogy will also contain remastered versions of the three Crysis games. However, they did not provide further details regarding this matter. The Crysis Remastered trilogy is set to launch this fall for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
