Tim Sweeney as CEO of Epic Games has big plans for the distribution of his games. The plan is to bring the Epic Games Store to Android and iOS devices in the future.

This was revealed through GameSpot after conducting several interviews with Tim Sweeney, who said that he would bring the Epic Game Store specifically for the mobile platform.

“We want to bring the Epic Games Store to iOS in the future as well as to Android. We think this is a good way to help the industry continue to grow,” said Sweeney in an interview with Gamespot.

In addition to presenting EGS Mobile, Epic Games also plans to invite several mobile game developers to use the Unreal Engine as their game creation. This is because Epic Games freed engine royalties for the first $1 million in revenue and offered a profit-sharing system that would certainly be very tempting for those who want to release their games to the EGS platform.

“Now that we have provided many things with Unreal Engine to the Epic Online service, we open up opportunities for all developers to use it in their games and try to provide a more attractive alternative to the game industry ecosystem,” he explained.

The reason they made this alternative is because Epic Games once protested Google Play’s revenue-sharing policy which was considered unfair to them developer.
