Activision Earns Up to USD 633 Million Profits from Mobile Games
Activision Blizzard may be known for PC and console games such as Call of Duty, Diablo and World of Warcraft, but it looks like they are now looking to make more money from mobile games.
Recent reports reveal that their revenue from mobile games exceeds revenue from console and PC games, as well as other elements of the company’s business.
In the last quarter of last year, on December 31, 2022, Activision made a profit of around USD 633 Million or around 8.6 Trillion Rupiah from mobile games. This income reached 32% of the company’s total net income.
One of the reasons why they are able to make so much coffers from mobile games is the acquisition of King of which one of the games is Candy Crush. In addition, they also have the Call of Duty Mobile game, which is currently one of the most popular mobile games with 150 million downloads worldwide.
