The Story of Hero Bruno: Protector of the City of Antoinerei

Growing up in the slums, Bruno is physically weaker than his peers. His thin and petite body was often the object of ridicule, his wrinkled shirt complete with an inexplicable smell that had probably not been washed in years, a sign of Bruno’s arrival from a distance.

Due to his extremely poor circumstances, no one considered Bruno a friend. Even so, these circumstances never stopped him from having a heart filled with freedom, Bruno even considered everyone as his friend, even though no one acknowledged it. Deep in his heart, Bruno wanted to be a protector for what was most precious to him. However, until then, Bruno had never found this valuable thing, because since childhood Bruno had been living independently and had never had a single thing worth fighting for.

One day, when Bruno was scavenging trash for leftovers or items to sell, he suddenly found a ball that looked brand new. As if seeing a gem, Bruno immediately dashed towards where the ball was. Sure enough, the ball was still clean and not damaged at all.

With joy, Bruno immediately tried to play the ball with both feet, the touch of the ball seemed to spoil Bruno’s feet who in his life had never felt the touch of such a good thing. Every day, Bruno continued to play the ball all the time, he even began to believe that the ball was something he had to strive for for the rest of his life.

However, Bruno’s happiness only lasted for a moment, because the ball was forcibly taken by Bruno’s peers who were jealous of his happiness. As if he had lost his purpose in life, Bruno couldn’t help but be silent and cry seeing all these painful things. Deep down, Bruno wanted to avenge the cruelty of his peers, but with his weak body, there was nothing he could do but surrender.

Bruno spent the next days glumly scavenging trash in search of a glimmer of hope for his life. Until one day, Bruno saw his friend playing with his favorite ball on the side of the road. Their faces looked happy, until in the end he slipped onto the side of a busy highway.

Not long after, from a distance a car was seen at full speed heading towards him. Bruno who saw him immediately ran without thinking, pushed his friend out of the way quickly, without caring about his evil intentions for revenge, what was on his mind at that time was saving his friend. But unfortunately, now Bruno was the one who fell right in the path of the car.

“Sreetttt” The brakes of the car squeaked very loudly, but not enough to stop its speed so fast. Accidents are inevitable.

3 days later, Bruno finally woke up in the hospital, awakened from his critical condition due to the tragic accident. However, how surprised he was because now he couldn’t feel his legs anymore. It turned out that Bruno had serious injuries to both legs, so the doctors had to amputate both of his legs. this incident caused Bruno to lose all hope of his life.

However, Bruno’s inspiring story quickly spread throughout the city, and the Antoinerei scientists empathize with the tragedy that happened to him. Out of a strong feeling of compassion, the scientists ended up creating synthetic legs for Bruno with their new technology. When Bruno took his first steps, he was surprised by the strange feeling of his synthetic legs, but amazed by how he could run what felt like flying.

Seeing Bruno who was very happy, the scientists then asked what was most valuable to Bruno, and Bruno quickly answered that the most valuable thing for him was a ball, the ball he always played every day to fill his spare time. Hearing this, the scientists then gave a ball to Bruno, but this time the ball that Bruno received was not an ordinary ball, but a ball. Energy Ball which has been customized so that it is suitable for use with Bruno’s synthetic feet.

To express his gratitude, Bruno then vowed to protect Antoinerei until the end of his life. From that day on, every criminal who set foot in Antoinerei had to deal with Bruno’s relentless attacks. The townspeople finally gave him a summons
